Cary Williams called the Patriots cheaters last week, referring to Spygate back in 2007, before the joint practice with New England today.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick didn’t offer any thoughts on the comments, just saying go talk to Williams, but Logan Mankins offered a few words.

“I don’t even know what he was saying,” Mankins said. “I’m sure it wasn’t the smartest thing in the world to say, so I’m not worried about it.”

Mankins wasn’t bothered by the notion Williams and anti-Patriot fans share that the Pats are cheaters until they win another Super Bowl.

A lot of the people that say that, aren’t credible people in my opinion,” Mankins said. “Those guys don’t bother me.”
