Tom Brady spoke on Tuesday about Brandon Lafell and everything he brings to the table, according to CSN New England.

LaFell started off camp showing inconsistent hands that plagued him last season with the Panthers, but Brady has seen progress.

He keeps making more plays,” Brady said Tuesday, per CSN New England. “His understanding better and better. He’s a veteran. He’s savvy, knows how to run the routes, big body, big frame, makes a lot of tough catches.”

Brady, also mentioned he welcomes the size of the 6’3  Brandon LaFell.

“Absolutely. I’ve got some of the little pygmies out there like Julian and Danny, and it’s nice to have a little bigger guy out there from time to time who has a bigger catch radius,” Brady said. “Hopefully Danny and Julian don’t get mad at me for saying that. They won’t. They know I’m joking.”

Neither Amendola or Edelman is over 5’11.

LaFell saw plenty of action against the Redskins this week, catching 9 of the 12 targets his way during the first two practices, but the little pygmies Edelman and Amendola led the way with 16 catches of the 18 targets that came their way.
