Aaron Dobson underwent surgery in March to repair a stress fracture in his left foot, now Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe is reporting Dobson had a screw permanently inserted into his left foot.

The 2-3 month timetable for recovery seems unrealistic right now since Dobson just began running in July. Since, the injury has high risk for re-injury I believe the Pats will take it very slow with Dobson.
