The Patriots held their 4th practice in pads and 6th practice of training camp today.

WR Aaron Dobson (foot), WR Matthew Slater, WR Jeremy Gallon, DT Dominique Easley (knee), LB Deontae Skinner, T Chris Martin, DB Jemea Thomas, RB Tyler Gaffney, TE Michael Hoomanawanui, LB Chris White, C Bryan Stork, and WR Josh Boyce did not practice.

Alfonzo Dennard and Rob Gronkowski were limited again, the Pats are slowly getting them back into football play.

Jamie Collins had a couple of passes defended during one-on-one drills and 7-on-7s and has been easily the best cover linebacker this camp.

A great moment happen during one-on-ones when Edelman was going against Revis and Brady didn’t even bother with a throw. Revis has been outstanding.

Later on, Brady threw a perfect pass to the back of the end zone for a touchdown to Brandon LaFell against Darrelle Revis.

Revis Island and Tom Terrfic have been the funniest to watch face off.

Brandon Browner stole the show at camp today. He and Thompkins exchanged throwing each other to the ground during drills and got into a bit of a scuffle. Browner was fired up big time and playing rough throughout the day. Browner dominated WR Kenbrell Thompkins all day and intercepted a pass by Brady that was intended for Thompkins.

Thompkins had his worst practice of camp. He had about 4 drops and cut off a route that caused Brady to throw an interception to Justin Green.

WR Brian Tyms is continuing to make nice catches throughout camp and has nice chemistry with Ryan Mallett.

Jimmy Garoppolo had a light practice today.

Brady completed 2 of 4 passes during 7-on-7 drills and 10 of 18 passes during 11-on-11 drills. Brady threw 4 straight passes to Danny Amendola at one point. 3 were caught and one was a batted down screen.

Ryan Mallett was 1 of 3 in 7-on-7 drills and 7 of 17 during the 11-on-11 drills.

Jimmy Garoppolo threw only two passes during the team’s drills and only completed one pass during the team’s 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills.

Every practice Will Smith is continuing to get better.

Jake Bequette had a sack on Ryan Mallett in practice. He’s putting together a nice camp.

The Patriots practice tomorrow at 9:45 a.m. and it will be open to the public.
