The Patriots released, injured WR Greg Orton, who will land on the team’s IR list.

The team signed 2 new wide receivers, Cole Stanford (Cal Pol) and Brian Tyms (Florida A&M).

Tyms played in 7 games last year with the Browns, while Stanford is an undrafted free agent.

Tyms had 2 catches for 12 yards in 7 games with the Browns. Both catches came against the New York Jets.

Stanford played FB, HB, and WR for Cal Poly. Last season he rushed the ball 14 times for 53 yards and one touchdown. He also caught 25 passes for 354 yards and 4 touchdowns.

He’s 6’2 and 225 pounds versatile player.

Those moves put the Patriots back at their full 90 man roster.
