Former New England Patriots offensive lineman John Hannah wrote a book about his life on the field and off it called “Offensive Conduct: My life on the line.”

Many people, not just Crimson Tide fans and Patriots fans, will be interested in learning where Hannah developed his aggressive style of play that made him “The Greatest Offensive Linemen” ever.

The book is a true telling of how John “Hog” Hannah became a successful player on the field and a lost soul off the field.

The book journeys through the childhood of Hannah and through the successful college and Pro football career. It also gives a personal description of Hannah’s life off the field and how he found Christ to turn it around from a failure into a success story.

A review on Amazon.com by an Angela S. Sutton describes the book perfectly:

“A very honest book about a football player whose determination and brute toughness will never be seen againa strong man with weaknesses who got it all right in the end.”

It’s a great book for football fans everywhere, especially Pats fans and Alabama fans that want to know their hero on a more personal level.

If you love football you will enjoy this book, and if you’re a Christian, who loves football, you’ll really love this book!

John Hannah played college football under legendary coach Bear Bryant, where he was a two-time All-American for the Crimson Tide.

Hannah was drafted 4th overall in the 1973 NFL draft by the New England Patriots. Hannah helped the New England Patriots claim their first AFC Title in  1985 and first Super Bowl appearance against the 85 Bears. He retired after that Super Bowl.

Hannah was All – Pro 10xs (1976–1985) and All – AFC 11xs (1974, 1976–1985). He played in 9 Pro Bowls as well.

He was elected to Pro Football’s Hall of Fame in 1991, becoming the first Patriots player to be inducted.
