The Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos have banned the away team’s fans from buying tickets to this weekend games.
he official ticket-sales channels stipulate that only customers who have billing addresses in the vicinity of the host team may buy seats for next weekend’s games. “If you live the Rocky Mountain states, including Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and Western Kansas”, according to the Denver Post. If you live in Massachusetts, Connecticut, or anywhere away from the Denver area you cannot buy tickets to the game. Likewise, as the San Jose Mercury News reported, the “Tickets will be available to fans with a billing address in WA, OR, MT, ID, AK, HI and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Alberta,” so if your address is in the Bay area your out of luck for the game.
In the NFL, fans are from everywhere so it will be impossible to keep every Patriots or 49ers fans out of the stadium. Might not be many thanks to this, but I’m sure there will be a few.
