Tom Brady surprises two little boys on Ellen

Ellen hosted two little boys named Danny and Tommy Thursday on her show.

When Danny Keefe was born, his parents were told he would never walk or crawl, but he defined both of those odds. Danny, who is now 6, has been under going years of speech therapy for his childhood apraxia of speech. He wears a suit and tie everyday that he picks out because he is most comfortable in those clothes.

Danny is the water coach for his school elementary football team and his friend Tommy, 10, is the team’s QB.

Kids began to make fun of Danny for his speech and his clothing wear, but when his older friend Tommy found out about it, he decided to show his support for young Danny.

Tommy told all of his friends of his idea to have “Danny Appreciation Day” where they would all wear suits and ties to show their support of Danny.

On Wednesday, Nov. 20, more than 40 students from Mitchell and Williams gathered around Danny and began cheering “Danny, Danny.”

Less than a month later, Ellen had them both, and Danny’s mom on her show with a surprise message from Patriots QB Tom Brady, who had a big surprise gift for them.

Brady offered his support to Danny and Tommy and as a gift to them, he told them the Patriots will give them tickets to their final game of the season when they host Buffalo and pregame passes. Brady also said Robert Kraft wanted to have their entire football team at the Patriots Hall of Fame there in Foxborough.
