New England Patriots Super Bowl Champs

Gronk’s Return Keeping Patriots Tickets Pricey

Drew Brees and the undefeated New Orleans Saints travel to New England to take on the 4-1 Patriots in one of the best matchups of the season.  The Saints are rejoined by head coach Sean Payton after he was forced to sit out last season and his presence has had an enormous impact on the team. Nowhere has that impact been felt more than on the defensive side where they have the 4th ranked scoring defense this season, a huge jump from 2012 when they ranked 31st.  Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan certainly must take a fair share of credit for that turnaround as well.

While the Saints welcomed back their coach at the beginning of the season, the Patriots are hopefully welcoming back one of their star players this week.  New England has a completely new look to them with a whole new receiving corps this season, but that should change with the greatly missed Pro Bowl TE Rob Gronkowski likely to make his season debut this Sunday. Patriots tickets are averaging $327.64 for this week’s contest with the Saints and a get-in price of $109.  Other than Peyton Manning’s visit to Foxboro on November 24th, this is the most expensive game remaining on the schedule for the Patriots.  And if Gronk is confirmed to return for Sunday’s 4:25 start a few days ahead of time, tickets will certainly remain pricey up until kick-off.
