TGIF!

It is Friday and that means it is weekend and football!

I will do something fun today, comparing Patriots superstars to the Avengers superheroes!

This one is for all you comic book, superheroes, and football fans!

Which Patriot is most like Iron Man and who is like Captain America? Lets find out

Rob Gronkowski: Iron Man

- This should be obvious why. Iron Man is a young, rich, party, and playboy. All of this could easily sum up the Patriots star tight end. And I can see Gronk telling the world he is Iron Man.

Vince Wilfork: The Hulk

- Wilfork is close to the Hulk in actual size. Wilfork is a big hulking beast on the defensive line, smashing anything that runs his way. Wilfork also has been fined for getting into a fight with the Jets after a shot at teammate Talib’s knee showing this guy has a temper when it comes to the people he is aligned wit.

Dont’a Hightower: Thor

- Hightower is a big guy with flowing locks who attacks the enemy, A.K.A. the opposing team’s QB, or anybody with the ball. Hightower is improving with age, and snaps, as he has become better in coverage. Through 2 games the Patriots haven’t been able to use him or the other linebackers to blitz much, something they all excel at, especially Hightower. He has been spying the QB and playing in coverage, and doing a very good job at it. Thor had some growing up to do before ruling over his planet, and learned quickly. Something Hightower is doing now.

Devin McCourty: Hawkeye

- McCourty sees all in the back field playing safety. McCourty has found a home on defense playing free safety which allows him to play the ball in front of him, and gives him every chance to use his playmaking ability on balls thrown in his area. McCourty is great roaming the field and watching where the ball goes and reacting on it. McCourty who is developing into a leader keeps getting better with more experience he gets.

Tom Brady: Captain America

I don’t think this needs a description but I’ll give one anyway. Captain America is a leader, and excellent field commander. Sounds like Tom Brady if you ask me. Tom Brady is the all american guy, plays football, family man, says all the right things, and has the respect of everyone in his locker room. Brady is the captain of his team, and his teammates will follow him anywhere, and go to battle for their QB. Tom Brady is a true battle master on the field.
