NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says Amendola is “almost certain” to miss Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets.

It isn’t 100% certain he won’t play Thursday but he wasn’t present for Tuesday’s walk through which isn’t a good sign. If he doesn’t play he is added to the list of, Gronkowski, and Vereen. The Patriots will be short handed going against the Jets, who looked to have a good defense in their win over the Bucs.

Brady’s targets will consist of veteran Julian Edelman, Kenbrell Thompkins, and Josh Boyce. Brady will have a ton of rookies playing Thursday, and they were not impressive at all in the first game, so here is to hoping their butterflies are gone or New England could be in trouble.
