Rob Gronkowski returns to practice

Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski returns to practice.

Gronkowski has been recovering from back surgery and a forearm injury, which lead to surgery, during the offseason.

The Patriots kept him off the PUP list so he would not have to miss the first 6 weeks of the season. |
Gronk returned to practice today in full pads. Gronkowski participated in the stretching portion and positional drills during the 15-minute media access.

This doesn’t mean he will be ready for week one, but it is a good sign that we will see Gronk back on the field this month. There have been rumors that he may play as early as week 3.
