If I could take one player from the Lions to have on the Patriots team who would it be?
The most obvious one, Calvin Johnson.
He is the best wide receiver in the NFL right now, and watching him with Brady would be magical.
Johnson has earned the name Megatron as he stands 6’5 at 236 pounds. He is a monster at wide out, and is a beast at jump balls. Lions QB Matthew Stafford lobs it up to Megatron in the corner of the endzone, and he goes up and catches it every time, and teams know it is coming, but are powerless to stop it. In 2011, Johnson had 1,681 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. In 2012 he broke Jerry Rice’s single-season receiving record, and missed out on 2,000 yards by 36 yards. He is a monster, and I would love to see a guy like him playing with Tom Brady. That tandem would be unstoppable in the NFL.
