Eduardo Martinez attended Patriots practice on Thursday courtesy of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Patriots Charitable Foundation was able to run in a TD against the Buccaneers.

Martinez got to put the Patriots helmet on, go into the huddle, and take a hand off from Tom Brady for 20 yards and the score.

He was met by the team in the endzone for celebration of his run, and he added a spike to his celebration.

“That’s incredible,” Patriots safety Devin McCourty said to the media after practice. “Just to see, he got to come out and like you guys were just talking about, taking a handoff from Tom Brady and got to score a touchdown. I think that was great of him. He actually got to break down the team for our last day of training camp.

“I’m sure it’s a memory he’ll always have, and us as players, we remember that too. It was just good to be a part of that.”

Before practice started, Martinez got to spend time with QB Tom Brady, and then watched the practice from the stands. After practice, and the touchdown run, Martinez’s special day wasn’t over yet. He was able to throw the football with QB Tim Tebow.
