Former Bears headcoach Mike Ditka sat down with the Chicago Sun Times and answered a few questions, among them was the topic of Tebow to the Patriots.

Chicago Sun Times: “What do the New England Patriots know about Tim Tebow that the rest of the league doesn’t ?”

Ditka: “I’ve always felt the Patriots were one of the best organizations in football with as good of ownership and coaching as anybody. Now I know they are because they made a great decision based on what’s going to be good for their football team. The deal they made with Tebow was an outstanding deal financially, but I think the rewards they can get out of him for their football team will be much greater than that. You can’t find enough character people for your locker room. And when you find them, you have to take them.”
