Rookie Minicamp – WR Boyce On Sidelines With Borken Bone In Foot

A total of 33 players took part in the Patriots’ first on-field workout of rookie minicamp, highlighted by six of the team’s seven draft choices and former CFL standouts Armond Arsmtead and Jason Vega, Field Yates of ESPN Boston reports.

The workout took place on the practice fields outside of Gillette Stadium, with the players donning helmets and t-shirts.

The media-access portion of the practice lasted through a group stretch and individual position group drills.

Wide receiver Josh Boyce, a fourth-round draft choice out of Texas Christian, was on the sidelines, presumably as he continues his recovery from a previously broken bone in his foot, which is believed to have been injured prior to the combine. While addressing the media earlier in the day, Boyce described his status as “day-to-day.”
