Patriots talented tight end Rob Gronkowksi might have another surgery on his broken forearm due to an infection that has set up according to the Boston Herald. The report states that Gronkowski has an infection in the area where a metal plate was installed to repair his left forearm. Doctors will have to wait for the infection to go away to replace the plate, and Gronkowski would need 10 weeks after that to recover which would put the first game of the season in jeopardy for Gronkowski.
Patriots spokesman Stacey James said the team doesn’t expect to comment on the report.
From everyone at Patriot Gab, Get better Gronk! Well wishes and hopefully a speedy recovery for the big guy!
