Patriots sign WR Danny Amendola

The New England Patriots signed St. Louis Rams former WR Danny Amendola. Amendola is a younger, faster WR than Wes Welker, and apparently was the Patriots plan all along to sign him. The Patriots and Bill Belichick fell in love with the very talented wideout and was set on getting a deal signed with Danny Amendola. When Amendola is healthy, he is a very good WR, the Patriots are obviously banking on Amendola staying healthy. Amendola put up good numbers playing on a medicare offense with a below average QB, and now he gets to show off his skill sets with Tom Brady. The Patriots fans can say whatever they want about the new wideout, because when September comes, Amendola will dazzle the fans. With The Patriots everybody is replaceable thanks to QB Tom Brady. When you have an elite QB, it is easier to let go of a WR like Welker, because Brady has proved over his whole career that he is the main reason this offense is as good as it is, and can throw to anyone with success. Danny Amendola signed a 5 year deal with New England for 30.1 million with 10 million guaranteed. On His Twitter Account Danny Amendola tweeted ” Blessed. Thankful. Excited to get to work. Go Pats.”
