Patriots showing interest in WR Mike Wallace

The New England Patriots sent out “feelers” not long after the “legal tampering” began for WR Mike Wallace. Some think New England knows the Dolphins are badly wanting/needing the WR, so they are trying to jack up their price to get the wide out. I don’t buy that, New England has no reason to do this because the Dolphins still need a really good QB to throw to Wallace, a RB, and a good secondary. The Dolphins are far from becoming a good team that can compete with the Patriots. The Dolphins will compete for 2nd place with the Bills, as long as Brady stays healthy, of course. The Patriots have no reason to fear the Dolphins regardless if Wallace joins them or not so they really don’t have a reason to try to jack up the price. I think they are legit interested in the wide out and why not, he is the best free agent WR out there. The Patriots are most likely asking how much Wallace wants, and how much he is willing to take to play for them. Mike Wallace would be the biggest free agent signing the Patriots has had in years and would be the biggest, and best WR they have had since Randy Moss. The Dolphins and I’m sure a few other teams will offer Mike Wallace huge contracts, so it is up to Wallace to choose between breaking records and winning Championships or chasing the paper trail of money by playing on a bad team. Like Tom Brady said “There is no wing in the hall of fame for who makes the most money.”

ok patriot fans am i the only one that agrees the signing of mike wallace should be at the top of patriots must do list. There is no team in the nfl that has a “d” that would even come close to matching up with the signing of wallace with welker on the other side and rob and big “H” in the tight end package and there is no offense that would beable to keep up with that brady bunch. come on mike if u wanna win follow us. If you want money and loses then go to dolpions. Like brady said there is no spot in the hall of fame for most money paid
