New England Patriots Super Bowl Champs

Free Agency Focus: Cornerback Dunta Robinson

Dunta Robinson is a former first round Houston Texans pick, and now is a free agent after being cut by the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense was good this season, lead by former Patriot Asante SamuelRobinson could make an interesting option for the New England Patriots regardless if they bring back Talib or not. If they choose not to bring Talib back then it makes Robinson an even more get for the Patriots, but if they do bring Talib back, Robinson is still a good choice for New England to make him their slot corner. That move would allow New England to move on from Arrington, finally or use Arrington for depth purposes. Robinson might make a great slot corner, and he makes for an experienced cover corner. Robinson would provide New England with a hard hitting corner, and good tackler. Robinson delivers smashing hits over the middle of the field, which would make him a good slot corner for the Patriots, and he will bring energy, swag, attitude, physicality, and a veteran presence, which the secondary needs. The presence of Talib would make this a better fit for the Patriots. Robinson is 30 years old, and stands 5’10 feet tall. Robinson would be cheap, and that means he could be an interesting option for the Patriots, who need all the help they can get.
