Chip Kelly has decided he will not take the head coaching positions at Philadelphia, and Cleveland. Some rumors are suggesting that Chip Kelly will only take a head coaching job for New England after Bill Belichick retires. The rumor is based on the fact that Chip Kelly grew up in New Hampshire and was around the Patriots this past off season, and the Patriots now use Chip Kelly’s no huddle terminology and basic concepts in their fast pace, high scoring offense. The Patriots job would be a dream job for a man who grew up in Patriot territory. If this rumor is true then we might know who the coach in waiting is for the Patriots job when “the hoodie” decides to retire, which, I hope isn’t anytime soon.
