The Patriots have been preparing all week to travel to Miami to vs division foes the Miami Dolphins. New England practiced in extreme cold weather back to back days. Known for preparing his team to face anything in the game Bill Belichick is even preparing his team for cramps, so New England will be happy to go somewhere warm this Sunday but they are preparing for it by proper hydration. New England has worked on proper hydration and conditioning for a possible hot day in Miami because nobody wants to get caught with a cramp during this important match up, and they all want to celebrate another AFC East title with the win. Vince Wilfork who played for the Miami Hurricanes during his college days talked about the weather in Miami. “You hydrate a lot.” “A lot of conditioning and just making sure you’re ready to go. I think the biggest thing is you can’t go down there thinking about the weather. Everybody knows South Florida, you can have thunder storms, sun, you can have whatever except for snow. But who knows? It’s just a thing on that day you have to deal with, but hydration plays a big, big factor, especially if you get a nice hot day. You just have to be able to hydrate well and do everything you can within the week to get your body prepared to play in a place like that.”
