Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer Hurts Ankle in Win Over Eagles

Right tackle Sebastian Vollmer did not play in the second half of New England’s 38-20 win over the Eagles with an ankle injury.

Rookie first-round pick Nate Solder filled in after halftime. Vollmer is the second tackle in as many weeks to leave the locker room with a walking boot on his foot, as left tackle Matt Light left last week’s victory over the Chiefs similarly protected.

Light was limited in practice all week with his ankle injury, but he did play on Sunday. Rookie Marcus Cannon also saw some time late in the game at right tackle for the second consecutive week.
