Patriots Work Out Eight Players

The Patriots announced the names of eight players who tried out for the team today per Aaron Wilson of Profootball.scout.com. Before the names were released via the Patriots’ official Twitter account, Scout reported the workout of former St. Louis Rams and Cleveland Browns offensive tackle Phil Trautwein. The Patriots also worked out wide receiver Jarred Fayson, kicker Dave Rayner, wide receiver Britt Davis, punters Robert Malone and Spencer Lanning and offenisve lineman Robert Brewster. None of the players were immediately signed.
