Patriots Ink Veteran DE Mark Anderson

The Patriots have added some more beef for their D-line, as the team signed veteran DE Mark Anderson Friday.

Anderson, a 2006 fifth-round draft pick of the Bears, played in four game for Chicago before being released on Oct. 5. He was signed a day later by the Texans. He appeared in 11 games, with two starts, for Houston in 2010. Anderson has racked up 25.5 career sacks, seven passes defended, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. As a rookie, he racked up 12 sacks.
