Pats Season Ticket Holders Getting Their Tickets

The Boston Herald reports that Pats season ticket holders are going to get their season tickets soon, even though no one knows when the season will start.

The Patriots mailed out thousands of tickets to season-ticket holders this week, despite the fact there is no definitive word when the 2011 season will be played.

The timing of the move, with rumors swirling that owners and players are closing in on a new collective bargaining agreement, has led some to ponder its significance. Does the mailing indicate owner Robert Kraft’s views on when the lockout will end?

According to Patriots spokesman Stacey James, it does not. James said when the tickets were mailed has nothing to do with the current CBA discussions. Instead, the Patriots are simply going by their policy of “business as usual” until they receive an indication otherwise.
