New England Patriots Super Bowl Champs

Pats sit at #3 in this weeks ESPN Power Rankings

The Pats pulled out a big home win over the Ravens, and this week ESPN has them ranked at #3 in their Power Rankings, behind the 4-1 Steelers and 5-1 Jets.

Here’s the top five with the power rankings:

1 Steelers 4-1 If a rusty Ben Roethlisberger is good for three TDs, wait until the QB gets in midseason form. (Walker)
2 Jets 5-1 Rex Ryan enters the bye week with what he bragged about — the league’s best record. (Clayton)
3 Patriots 4-1 Deion Branch looks as though he never left Tom Brady. It’s a dangerous combo. (Clayton)
4 Ravens 4-2 Road losses to New England and Cincinnati prove this team still has room to grow. (Walker)
5 Colts 4-2 WR Pierre Garcon’s one-handed catch vs. Washington barely outpoints DB Aaron Francisco’s one-handed pick. (Kuharsky)

  1. I’M a Pats fan but i can almost agree with this. Besides the fact that the Patriots have the toughest schedule in the Nfl seeing as thewy face the Colts, and Steelers and Jets twice and have already beaten the Ravens. For the Patriots in 2010 all they need to do is make it to the playoffs healthy and they have as good of a shot as anyone in this league to win.
