Pats Ink 7th Round Pick DE Brandon Deaderick

National Football Post reports that the Pats have come to terms with seventh-round rookie defensive end Brandon Deaderick

The New England Patriots have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with seventh-round rookie defensive end Brandon Deaderick, according to a league source. Deaderick received a signing bonus just over $40,000 with the standard base salaries of $320,000, $405,000, $490,000 and $575,000. The deal has a total base value of $1.83 million. The maximum value of the deal can be boosted signficantly if Deaderick triggers a fourth-year escalator clause. Drafted 247th overall out of Alabama, Deaderick started 31 games and registered 82 total tackles and eight sacks.
