Belichick Stays Quiet on the Issues with Logan Mankins

The National Football Post reports on the issue with guard Logan Mankins, and how it seems coach Bill Belichick is staying quiet on the issue – for now at least.

In a stance that matches his traditional response to contract disputes, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick stayed quiet on the smoldering Logan Mankins matter. Mankins has questioned the Patriots’ integrity. The unsigned restricted free agent has asked to be traded and had his tender reduced to 110 percent of his 2009 base salary. “Right now we’re just focused on coaching the players that are here,” Belichick told reporters. “We’ll go out and get things done, hopefully have a good practice today. A situation between anybody and club, a contract situation, that’s between player and club.”
