Pats to host prospect WR Dez Bryant

The Pats may already be thinking about life after this upcoming 2010 season without Randy Moss, as the Boston Herald says they will talk to the best wide out in the draft – Dez Bryant:

With the 22nd pick in this year’s draft, it’s no given that talented receiver Dez Bryant will be available by the time the Patriots make their selection but they are doing their homework, anyway. Bryant was one of 30 official visitors to Gillette Stadium, and was spotted at Logan Airport today by ESPN’s Todd McShay, and the visit was the reason why. The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder has seen his share of controversy, the kind that ended up cutting short his career at Oklahoma State which could cause him to slip into the Patriots hands, after his so-so Pro Day.
