Brady Throws Passes for Charity

7NEWS did a great piece today on Tom Brady throwing some passes in the postseason for a winning, charitable cause:

It was a game of fantasy football Monday for some local kids who got to toss the pigskin around with Tom Brady.

The New England Patriots quarterback participated in the “smartwater zero sack give back,” playing flag football with children from the Tobin Community Center. He also handed off $30,000 to the Boston Centers for Youth & Families to help promote an active lifestyle for children in the community.

“It’s a pleasure for me. When smartwater said, what do you think about this, I thought it was a great idea. To raise money and give away money is something we all love to do,” said Brady.

Smartwater had previously pledged to donate $5,000 for each game that Brady finished without getting sacked. Brady had five sackless games this past season.
