Pats with their Eyes on Eagles Backup QB Feeley?

The Pats recently cut ties with backup QB Kevin O’Connell, but it seems they have their eyes on another backup – the Eagles A.J. Feeley:

Are the Patriots interested in another quarterback? Reports out of Philadelphia say Eagles backup A.J. Feeley is on the trading block. Sources say the Pats are among the teams investigating the possibility of acquiring Feeley. Belichick and Eagles coach Andy Reid are close, and the two were involved in the deal that brought receiver Greg Lewis to New England. Belichick wouldn’t divulge details yesterday but said, “Am I saying there’s going to be no more player movement? No.” Some possibilities via trade or free agency are Kansas City reserve Tyler Thigpen, former Patriot Damon Huard, and Ravens reserve Cleo Lemon (released yesterday).
