Pats and OL Kaczur are Close to an Extension

The Boston Globe reports that the Pats and OL Nick Kaczur are close to wrapping up an extension:

The Patriots and offensive tackle Nick Kaczur are close to finalizing a contract extension. “I’m obviously excited because this is one of the best, if not the best, organization in football, the way you get treated from Mr. Kraft to everyone here,” Kaczur told the Boston Globe today in the team’s locker room before practice. “I think that speaks well for what they do here, that the players like it here and like the way things go that they want to stay. It’s really exciting to know that they would like to continue working with you.” Kaczur entered the last year of his contract and had been scheduled to earn $2.27 million in 2009. He did not detail terms of the extension that is close to being finalized, but expressed excitement about a longer stay with the team.
