The Pats today severed ties with one of their draft picks from 2008, as they released linebacker Bo Rudd. He’s the brother of Bucs LB Barrett Rudd, and was the 197th overall selection a year ago. He landed on injured reserve in 2008 and missed all of his rookie season. Becuase he has less than four years of service, Ruud initially will pass through waivers.
