Pats Come to Terms w/ Veteran WR Joey Galloway

The Pats have added a veteran wide out, as reports from NFL Network and other sources say the team has come to terms with Joey Galloway. Terms of the deal weren’t immediately known.

Galloway had spent the past five seasons with the Buccaneers, and was a success there till last season, when he was hurt for much of the season. Last year he only had 13 catches for 138 yards with no touchdowns in 9 games. Prior to last year he started 52 games over four seasons for the Bucs, turning in 1,000-yard seasons in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

In his 14 seasons in the league, Galloway has gone over the 1,000-yard plateau six times. Prior to Tampa Bay, Galloway spent four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and five with the Seattle Seahawks. For his career, Galloway has 682 catches for 10,710 yards and 77 touchdowns.
