The Pats are expected to extend a second-round tender, worth $1.45 million, to restricted free agent Pierre Woods, according to the Boston Globe. If the Patriots do indeed extend the offer, they’d receive a second-round pick from any team that attempted to sign Woods away. Thus, you can expect Woods, who started three games for New England last season, to be back with the team and again serve as one of the team’s top backups at outside linebacker.
