The Pats have three new coaches, and today’s ProFootballTalk.com is reporting the changes. Here is the report from their site:
The New England Patriots announced today that they’ve hired veteran assistant Scott O’Brien as special teams coach, naming Bill O’Brien as quarterbacks coach and Josh Boyer as secondary coach.
Scott O’Brien, who previously was the special teams coach for Patriots coach Bill Belichick with the Cleveland Browns, spent the past two seasons as the Denver Broncos’ special teams coordinator.
Bill O’Brien coached the Patriots’ receivers last season after working as an offensive assistant in 2007.
Boyer was a defensive assistant for the past three seasons in New England.
