Report Says Pats Won’t Move Cassel for Anything Less Than a First-Round Pick

The Patriots would ask for a high first-round draft pick in exchange for quarterback Matt Cassel, according to ESPN. The club would want additional picks as well.  Cassel is already being mentioned in talks with the Minnesota Vikings, who are going to look for a starting QB this offseason after the poor outing in their playoff loss to the Eagles at home last Sunday.  There would be a couple other teams in the mix, like possibly Detroit, but most will have the Vikings as the #1 place that Cassel could end up.
