Would the Pats Actually Consider Moving Brady?

Yes, the talk in New England has already begun about what exactly is going to happen in 2009 to Tom Brady, Matt Cassel, and the Pats offense should everyone be back and ready to go.  Cassel has had an amazing two weeks, being the only Pats QB ever to throw for 400 or more yards in two straight games.  Now if he can do that Sunday vs the #1 ranked D in the league in Pittsburgh, that will really start the talking.  For now, the good folks at Cold Hard Football Facts has an interesting look at some of the reasons why the Pats should consider moving Brady and keep Cassel.  Click HERE to read the story.

  1. Kevin Ellison says:

Brady’s our quarterback. New England’s system along with belichick are experts at spotting unique talent at any position and are even better at pushing them to excel. Cassel is a product of great coaching, not to undermine his success at all. But Brady is battle tested and a proven winner. I just don’t think we should question our three time superbowl winning quarterback too quickly.
