The Patriots have signed nine-year veteran cornerback Deltha O’Neal.  The former Pro Bowler and first-round pick was released by the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday and signed by the Pats yesterday.  As the Patriots prepare for Sunday’s season opener against Kansas City, the big question is whether quarterback Tom Brady will play.  During a press conference yesterday, Brady said quote “if it’s up to me, there is no question . . . but those questions aren’t always up to me.”  Brady has been dealing with a sore right foot and didn’t see any action in the preseason.
