The Pats got beat up by the Bucs last night 27-10, and they did it with their leader, Tom Brady, watching from home with a foot injury. The QB today said that he’s not sure he’ll play in the teams 3rd preseason game this weekend vs the Eagles. “Just trying to be smart,” Brady said on WEEI in Boston. “The preseason is important, but I think the idea is to be ready for when the regular season kicks off.” Brady did get treatment on the foot during the weekend, but has already said he’ll play it safe when it comes to forcing himself back into action before the regular season. “I’m doing good, doing good, just wishing I could have been out there last night,” Brady said. “I’ll try to get treatment this week. I’m feeling better every day.”
