Welker, Hobbs and Ruud Off the PUP List


The Boston Globe is reporting that the Patriots have taken the following players off the PUP list: WR Wes Welker, CB Ellis Hobbs and ILB Bo Ruud.  The three players were present at today’s training camp practice, which was held inside the Dana-Farber Field House. The three had started training camp on the physically unable to perform list.

  1. Just what the Pats need: more healthy players. What everyone ignores about their success last year was the fact that they stayed so healthy, with very few major injuries. The depth that comes with having a healthy team really helps out in the 6 divisional games against teams that are basically playing their 2nd and 3rd string due to injuries.
