The Pats have announced their 13th member to the teams Hall of Fame, and it’s tight end Ben Coates. “I feel great about it. I guess it was my time, and what better time to be inducted than the year the team is opening The Hall at Patriot Place.” Coates is the first tight end to be elected to the Pats Hall. He played nine seasons with the Pats, and was a great pass catcher, pulling in one season 96 passes for 1174 yards and 7 scores. In his career he had 499 catches for 5555 yards and 50 touchdowns. He also went to the Pro Bowl five times as a Patriot.
