The Pats have come to terms with 5th round pick Matthew Slater according to the Boston Globe. The paper says that Slater, who is the son of former NFL great Jackie Slater, has been playing at both safety and wide out for the team thus far.

Despite being charged with drug possession, the Pats say that offensive lineman Nicholas Kaczur is going nowhere. The team did not comment on any disciplinary action it might take against Kaczur, saying only that it was an internal matter and they would be dealing with it from there.
