Pats Remove Themselves in the Running for OL Barry Sims

The Boston Globe is reporting that the Pats are out of the running for free-agent OL Barry Sims, who was in town for a visit on June 11th. The paper says that Sims is looking for a shot to compete for a starting job, and it looks like the Pats O-line is pretty well set. Three other teams that Sims has spoken to - the 49ers, Rams and Ravens will likely give him a better chance of getting a shot at a starting job, which is why the Pats no longer have him on their radar.
