Former Lions Back Jones Spoke with Pats Last Week

NFL Network is reporting that former Lions running back Kevin Jones paid a visit to the Patriots last week, talking to them about joining their squad to add depth to the RB spot. Jones is coming back from a knee injury and was let go by Detroit a few months back. He had talked to the Eagles according to reports, but nothing came of it. Jones could be a solid addition for a team that could always use another running back.
