The Pats have already been busy this offseason, first talking with and reportedly offering a contract to Zach Thomas, and now today they will sit down and talk with recently released wide out Marty Booker. The Boston Globe is reporting that the Pats would use Booker as an alternative to Jabar Gaffney should he leave via free agency. The team also will need a receiver as they are on the verge of releasing Donte Stallworth. Last season in 15 games with Miami Booker caught 50 passes for 556 yards and one TD. Reports have the Bears, his old team, and the Cowboys also taking a look at bringing Booker in.
