Downtown Boston was Set for a Party

Kenmore Square, among other places, were set for a party like they had never seen before. Problem is - the Giants didn’t play along. Yes, authorities in the Boston area were set for a party for what was supposed to be a 19-0 Pats team as they were SUPPOSED to take care of business Sunday vs the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. Instead, there will be no party, no streets closed, and no Lombardi Trophy hoisted this year in Boston. The Pats lost, and while cars were towed and alcohol sales were restricted in some parts of town, the Pats didn’t finish their job. I guess it’s a lot easier on the overtime for police on the cities budget at least.

Here in Houston, my next door neighbors are from Boston and are diehard Pats fans. There Christmas card was the three children and parents, and dog, in Bruschi, Thomas, Brady and Maroney jerseys. They’ve been trashing my little brother about the Eagles (SB loss and Reg Season loss). They’ve been boasting so much in the Patriots its sickening. And then last night they throw a huge party where all their New England friends take up the whole cauldasack. I expected their party to last all night until the game got going…and then Tyree caught the pass…and then the Pats lost :)…and then everyone left in an instant and the party was over. My father and I went outside and started cheering for the Giants muhahahahah!!!! The Party is over Pats fans, you’re team are losers just like the other 31 in the NFL.
