Stallworth Baffled at Lack of Playing Time in Pats Offense

While there are plenty of big name players having big years in New England, one players whose numbers have actually taken a dive in the second half of the year is wide out Donte’ Stallworth. Speaking to the Boston Herald, Stallworth says that injuries were not a factor in why he was dropped on the depth chart, and as of now he is not sure himself why he’s not in the lineup more. “I don’t have an answer,” he said. “I just have ot continue to do my part and hope to get open.” Stallworth has lost playing time to fellow WR Jabar Gaffney, who has played well in his spot. As to wanting to play more, it’s something Stallworth would love to do. “I’m getting on the field as much as they put me out there, which is all that matters,” Stallworth answered. “Everyone wants the ball. Everyone wants to have all the catches and all that stuff. It is what it is. The coaches are going to do what they think is best, so I’m just riding with that right now.”
