For Patriots head caoch Bill Belichick it began with a scandal and ended with an undefeated season, and now honors.  He’s been voted NFL Coach of the Year for guiding the Patriots to a perfect 16-and-0 season, a feat never before achieved in the National Football League.  The honor came after he was fined a half-million-dollars for spying on the New York Jets with a sideline camera during the seasons first game.  Belichick received 29-of-54 first-place votes.  Some of those who cast ballots say they didn’t vote for him because of the spy scandal.  Belichick won the honor in 2003, the same year his team won the Super Bowl.  The Patriots need to win three more games for him to achieve the double honor again.
